01 Sep Preview: 33rd GÄCD Annual Conference also virtual for the first time
At the end of 2019, when I was elected President of the GÄCD (German Society for Aesthetic Surgery), I was looking forward to an exciting and intensive time in which I could contribute my input to this fantastic society. Of course, nobody thought about corona back then. In spring 2020, it was clear to me: this is going to be a challenge!
As every year, the GÄCD is organizing an annual conference in 2020 with participants, speakers and exhibitors that also attracts international attention. A Herculean task in this extraordinary year, but one that I was happy to take on together with my team at GÄCD. Today we are full of anticipation and can proudly say: the effort was worth it!
For the first time, our congress will be completely mirrored virtually, enabling a new dimension of participation in addition to physical attendance. The event also offers the opportunity to gain an insight into numerous interesting topics in a variety of workshops parallel to the main program.
We have succeeded in putting together a highly qualified faculty that guarantees an exchange of knowledge at the highest level.
