PRP Platelet Rich Plasma
The PRP treatment is also referred to and advertised as so-called “vampire lifting” in the media. But we do not consider this term inappropriate. The treatment effect is much more like freshening and padding, not face lift.
During treatment, blood is first removed and then centrifuged. This allows the red blood cells to be separated from the plasma and platelets. The platelet-rich plasma is then superficially injected on the parts of the face, which should be corrected. It may also be useful to add hyaluronic acid to the plasma. This will then further increase the moisture content of the skin and enhance the smoothing effect. After the treatment, bruises may be visible on the face for a few days, which, however, can generally be well masked with make-up. The refreshing effect lasts about 3 to 6 months. We recommend repeating the treatment at the earliest after one month.
about 1 hour 2-3 sessions are recommended for optimal results.
After 1 day
Occasionally bruises for a few days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the PRP treatment painful?
Since we carry out the injections with extremely fine needles and the PRP injection does not cause any burning, pain anaesthesia can be dispensed with in most cases. If necessary, however, we perform a cold anaesthesia or apply an anaesthetic cream beforehand.
What are the risks associated with treatment?
Very few. Haematomas may occur, which then persist for a few days.
What effect can be expected?
A general refreshment and smoothing of the treated facial areas.
When and how often can the treatment be repeated?
Any number of repetitions are possible, at the earliest after one month.
With which other treatments can the PRP treatment be well combined?
Very good with hyaluronic upholstery and superficial to medium deep peelings.
