03 Mar On the board of the International Peeling Society
At the recent IMCAS conference in Paris, I was elected to the board of the INTERNATIONAL PEELING SOCIETY (IPS) as treasurer. This society is truly unique, as 84 peeling specialists (mainly dermatologists) from all over the world have come together under its roof to further develop the fascinating possibilities of this method. Most people are not aware that peelings can do much more than just smooth the skin. The deep chemical peels in particular, which I use very frequently, can completely rejuvenate faces by up to 20 years. That sounds unbelievable, but it actually corresponds to reality! The progress made in peeling treatments in recent decades has only been possible thanks to an intensive international exchange of experience, which is further promoted by the IPS.
